Black Organizing Summer School

Kennedy Moore, 2020 BOSS Fellow: "My time as a fellow with Action St. Louis in the Black Organizing Summer School (BOSS) will follow me for the rest of my life. This program not only enhanced my previous advocacy but gave me the tools, knowledge, and relationships to build Black power in the St. Louis region and beyond. I am so grateful for the Ella Baker model of leadership development that Kayla Reed instilled in us. In the future I hope to pass down that same type of mentorship to other future organizers."
